Woodworking has been my passion for many years. Everybody in our family knows never to throw out a piece of high-quality wood: I am always happy to upcycle it, turning it into new furniture or art.
About twenty years ago, I traveled to the UK to attend a woodworking course led by Jimmy Clewes. I went back home with a Polewood lathe in my car, which I still use today.
Over the years, I have experimented with different techniques, finding my own artistic voice. I like designs that make a person look twice, that create an optical illusion, and make one wonder "how was that made?".
